Our Mission
The majority of Earthly Woven products include an element that promotes stress relief. It is important to highlight chronic stress because it is linked to several of the leading causes of death in the United States.
For Earthly Woven, this is a major concern because chronic stress is prominent in the black community due to centuries of systemic oppression and capitalism. Stress is a key risk factor for issues like hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
In 2017, the Creator of Earthly Woven was diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension and has dedicated her time to healing herself from this condition holistically. She believes it's important to understand the connection between similar conditions, one's environment, and one's emotions in order to heal the black mind and body.
The goal of Earthly Woven is to make health, wellness, and herbalism fun, but most importantly accessible. Oftentimes in traditional health spaces there is an overuse of jargon that can’t be understood by the average person. Earthly Woven desires to close that gap, make wellness digestible, and bring back creativity to wellness spaces, while also glorifying the Most High.
